From the WSJ this morning and from the PBS News Hour in August--Purdue University has been negotiating with students for a piece of their economic pie post graduation and new employment in exchange for funding tuition.

As a finance person with strong ties to the disciplines of economics and data analysis, I find this free market initiative very interesting.  As I understand it, the exchange varies in specific terms depending on the person's field of employment and expected earnings power. I welcome postings about this venture.
